Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy clarifies how flight cancellations, ticket refunds, travel credits, and service fees operate in relation to AirTrip, operating airlines, and independent third-party service providers.
1. AirTrip Platform Fee Policy
AirTrip does not charge any service fees, booking fees, or membership fees directly to website visitors. Browsing our informational content and calling the phone number displayed on our website is completely free of charge from AirTrip (standard carrier phone charges may apply).
Because AirTrip does not charge any fees or process ticket payments directly, AirTrip does not issue refunds, hold customer funds, or administer payment disputes.
2. Third-Party Provider Service Fees
When you place a call through our website, you connect directly with an independent third-party travel service provider. If you choose to engage that provider for flight booking, itinerary changes, or cancellation assistance, the provider may charge a separate service or assistance fee.
Any provider service fees are charged by and paid directly to that third-party provider under their own independent terms and conditions. Inquire about the provider's refund and cancellation policies regarding their service fees before authorizing any transaction.
3. Airline Ticket Refunds and Fare Rules
All airline ticket refunds, travel vouchers, and electronic flight credits are governed entirely by the contract of carriage and specific fare rules of the operating airline (such as Delta Air Lines or other carriers):
• Refundable Fares: Eligible for a refund to the original method of payment in accordance with airline processing timelines. • Non-Refundable Fares: Generally not eligible for a cash refund upon voluntary cancellation; however, the airline may issue a travel credit or eCredit for future travel, minus any applicable carrier fees. • 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation: Under US Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and major airline policies (including Delta Air Lines), qualifying tickets booked at least seven days prior to departure may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund to the original payment method without penalty.
4. Airline Involuntary Cancellations & Schedule Changes
If an airline cancels a flight, significantly changes a schedule, or delays a departure beyond carrier thresholds, passenger rights and refund eligibility are governed by DOT regulations and airline conditions of carriage. In such events, travelers are typically entitled to a full refund of the unused ticket portion upon request.
5. How to Inquire About a Refund or Cancellation
To inquire about cancelling an existing flight or requesting a refund or travel credit, call (855) 365-0173 to connect with an independent travel specialist, or contact your operating airline directly. Have your 6-character booking reference (PNR), e-ticket number, and passenger details ready for review.
